Hello to All!

Hello Everyone!

I want to express appreciation for all of you for coming to RCAD last
Saturday, February 2nd. I love to see everyone coming back and chat
with each other.

RCAD hosted a poker tournament. I was so suprised to see the
players come and they played almost half of Saturday!!
It helped to increase RCAD's fund.

Kerry Cooler is the Chairperson of the Committee
and most of them are Board Members on the committee.
We are still working on finding a right place for RCAD 30th Anniversary.
We got some bids to rent a baquent hall for us and
we will appoint one VERY SOON.
Invitations are being developed and we need all your help
to list down your mailing addresses so we could send you one
to our RCAD 30 Years Annivesary Gala! Just sign up on the RCAD
Membership form on the membership link
on www.jaxdeafclub.com or email to Vice President, Kerry Cooler at
Kerry@jaxdeafclub.com.
RCAD will be hosting an international food day on Saturday, March 1st!
We can bring different native foods like mexico, French, Korea, and
British. We like to taste different foods and experience cultures!
At the same time, the RCAD will host a poker game again
as well as Tripoley game and Scrapbooking group.
I encourage you to come back on Saturday, March 1st, 2008!

Your RCAD President,
Herbie Quinones

President Herbie Speaks!

Hello Everyone!
It is unbelievable that the new year 2008 has arrived! It is a great time for our deaf
club, RCAD to become stronger by making some new changes.
My goal is to bring more deaf people back to RCAD to continue with our Deaf Culture.
It is also a great event that RCAD will turn 30 years this coming November of 2008!

We will have a grand Gala!

Speaking of coming event, RCAD will have an open house event on Jan 5th at 5pm. This is
for you to socialize with new RCAD Officers. There is no  admission cost and we
will serve refreshment.

See you there!

Your RCAD President,
Herbie Quinones

President's Notes October 22, 2007

Hello Everyone!

Due to lack of participants for Election, we decide to postpone to November 3rd during Thanksgiving Dinner event. I do hope that we will have the turn out and fill in all the positions for 2008 two years term. It is your CLUB to make it possible. Next October 2008, it will be 30 years annivesary for RCAD. It is amazing to see the club stand that long. If the positions are not filled during the Election, we may have to fold until the positions are filled. Otherwise, we may have to put on hold and there will be no social events after December. Most of you may not want to see that to happen.

Please do consider running any of the positions to make the RCAD history and memorable. New Officiers can make new changes what you want to do. Again, I say it's your CLUB.

I would like to say thank you to the board team and some volunteers for their hard work for the past two years. It was so wonderful to see the accomplishment of having our own website. If you haven't seen it, please do visit www.jaxdeafclub.com.

Thanks for reading this and if you do have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact either of the board members.

See www.jaxdeafclub.com for more information on Thanksgiving Dinner on November 3rd.

Your President,

Christine Stevens
