I’m pleased to inform you that the ILRC has been issued Weather Radios for the deaf to be distributed to the deaf/hard of hearing in our five county area. They are regular weather radios with a “hearing impaired kit” that includes a light that flashes to let you know there is a warning and the LCD display tells you if it is a Tornado, Hurricane etc. It also comes with a pillow shaker and has a battery backup. This has come at a perfect time considering there are storms all lined up in the ocean right now! Please email me if you are interested in obtaining one of these FREE alert systems.
Sincerely,
Angie
